Good news from our friends at DevelopHer challenge: their competition to design toys for girls had 150 submissions. They are now down to 12 semi-finalists and 3 winners will be announced on the first week of November of 2014.

DevelopHer is focused on changing the toy aisles for girls. The challenge encourages, recognizes and accelerates toys and games focused on girls ages 3-12 in science, technology, engineering and math. Studies show we become what we play with. Take a stroll down the girls toy aisle…what do these toys encourage our girls to become?
