The gender of words exhibition

For Dubai Design week 2020 SheSays’ chapter lead Professor Dina Faour launched a virtual exhibition called “The Gender of Words”. Dina took a closer look at the tone of voice when addressing female audiences in advertising and noticed most the verbs were on imperative tense and akin to orders.

She lead a discussion on the way women are talked to and lead networking and mentorship activities for SheSays’ Dubai members.
