The power of visual storytelling in the video era
Ready or not, video is a taking over! YouTube already receives more than a BILLION unique visitors every month and video is expected to account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic by 2017. There’s no doubt that people LOVE their video content and we want to make sure you’re ready for this video revolution.
That’s why we’ve invited the very talented Abigail Wright to this month’s SheSays. As a filmmaker, writer, producer, information designer (with work that has won over 80 awards globally) she’s an expert on video storytelling.
Filmmakers think in pictures. She’ll help us to understand the importance of visual storytelling and how to create content that works. Because of the way our brains interpret the world around us, images evoke profound understanding and deep feeling. If we can learn to communicate our ideas using the tools of story and vision, we can create powerful messages to help us achieve our goals.
Abigail will help you to “think visually” and share some tricks of the trade, too.
