Thursday 8 March – 6pm (6.30pm start)
CHANGE OF VENUE: FABRICA, Duke Street, BN1 1AG
Welcome to a special SheSays Brighton panel event, celebrating International Women’s Day with four fabulous speakers, talking about issues they’re passionate about. We’re proud to be part of Spring Forward Festival for the 4th year running. Only 100 tickets available! Book here.
We’re very excited to hear from: Emily Yates, writer and activist involved in the ‘Southern Fail’ campaign and co-founder of the Association of British Commuters; Dr Aristea Fotopoulou, Senior Lecturer in Media and Communication on data and its impact on women; Tasha Mansley, expert on issues with young people on social, such as self-esteem, sexting and cyber-bullying; and Bridie By The Sea, local award winning ‘mum blogger’ Bridget McGrath. New panelist! Welcome to Sunetta Kiarie of The Goodall Foundation, who manages new youth and community hub The Barge in Brighton Marina. Sunetta will speak on identity and creativity. We’re delighted our moderator for the evening is former TEDx Brighton curator Natalie Lloyd.
Many thanks to our Brighton business sponsors: Madgex, Plus Accounting and Pragmatic for their generous sponsorship.
