Adlandia – great podcast alert!

Giant Spoon’s Laura Correnti, past SheSays speaker and advertising/marketing veteran, has teamed up with Alexa Christon, Head of Media Innovation at GE, to produce ADLANDIA, a new bi-weekly podcast challenging that “same ol” thinking in the advertising field.

As two of Madison Ave’s most disruptive female voices, Laura and Alexa are skilled at finding the signals in the noise of the advertising/marketing industry. Every other Tuesday, listeners will have a chance to meet some of the industry’s most inspiring talent and learn about the business models, ideas and obsessions they’re bringing to the booth. Along with their guests, Laura and Alexa will attempt to solve the toughest questions plaguing marketers, publishers and platforms, leaving listeners with new perspectives to bring back to the boardroom. ADLANDIA is a place where critical thinking meets creativity, and the “way it’s been done” isn’t allowed. This podcast is dedicated to the renegades, rule-breakers and industry-makers — nothing is off limits for these two co-hosts.

One of the reviews says, “If you love Ted Talks, NPR, Standford Speaker Series, Startup, Gimlet (anything)…this is for you. It’s marketing 101 on steroids.”

First four episodes are available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, iHeartRadio and wherever you can download pods.
