SCOTLAND: ‘Engagement: The battle for your time.’
Following the successful launch of She Says in Scotland, we are excited to announce the second event, which will take place on Thursday 17 November at SocietyM, Glasgow:
‘Engagement: the battle for your time’
‘Engagement’ is an annoying word. It’s a word we use all the time, but not always correctly. What does it really mean? Why do we all promise engagement to our clients? Is it something we can really achieve?
We have three speakers from different backgrounds with different views on engagement:
Leanne Rinning
Leanne Rinning is currently Head of Online PR at bigmouthmedia /LBi, one of the largest digital marketing agencies in Europe. Leanne knows her social media and online PR inside out and back to front, and is a seasoned speaker on the subject.
Elaine McVicar
Elaine been designing websites for over 10 years. User experience has long been a growing passion, and something she loves talking about, writing about, and if it’s been a long day even mumbling about in her sleep. Elaine works at Equator, a full service digital agency, where she gets involved in visual design, interface design, user experiences, and much more.
Deana Burke
Deana Burke is the resident Community Manager at Blonde Digital in Edinburgh. Hailing from NYC originally, she has social media marketing experience with brands like Starbucks, Macy’s, GE and Pepsi. She’s currently managing the online presence of some top selling drinks brands and spends quite a lot of time googling the meaning of Scottish words.
Held in the stylish and chic surroundings of SocietyM in Glasgow, just 5 minutes walk from Queen Street Station, this event will start at 6.30 for 7pm. So come early, have a drink and a chat and enjoy what our fantastic speakers have to say.
